Madison and Alec were married at The Lightner Museum, one of the most historic St. Augustine wedding venues in the city. They met when they were both UCF engineering students and have been inseparable ever since. I know Madison through our church where she has been involved with middle school ministry and has been a great role model for my daughter. It’s definitely not cliche to say this but they both married their best friend! Madison and Alec love all things Disney and wanted a truly princess-inspired feel to their wedding. Her wedding dress and crown looked so stunning on her. She truly was a fairytale princess! I also loved the soft blush and cream color theme that Madison chose for her bridal party and Alec’s light colored tuxedo.
Madison began her wedding day with a lovely brunch at The Lightner museum with her mom, sister, grandmother, future mother-in-law, and her closest girlfriends. From there she and her bridal party got ready at a nearby Inn. Alec sent over a cute recorded message to Madison which was so incredibly thoughtful! The card read, “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes.”
Madison and Alec are loving parents to their adorable pups, Belle and Alice so I made sure to include them in some pre-ceremony photos and in some after ones. Aside from a little rain scare, the ceremony went off without a hitch. A horse-drawn carriage, a la Cinderella, was waiting to pick them up and take them to St. Augustine’s famous Columbia Restaurant where they had a small reception dinner. I couldn’t be happier for this sweet couple and I was honored to photograph their beautiful wedding that was a testament to the love of faith and family that they both share. Enjoy these highlights from their fabulous day!
