The twins senior pictures session I did for Alex and Emily was one of those real special ones for me because I watched them grow up with my daughter. I’ve enjoyed seeing all that they accomplished throughout high school. Both girls are exceptional athletes and excelled in varsity sports at Oviedo High School. Alex was on the swim team and Emily was on the soccer team. Alex is attending the University of Florida and Emily is attending the University of North Florida. I know great things are in store for these two amazing young ladies!
We selected Rollins College as the spot for their senior pictures because they wanted a more classic feel to their pictures. I was expecting it to be super hot, but I was not prepared for the amount of construction that was taking place on campus that day. A lot of my usual spots were blocked off, but as with such a gorgeous campus as Rollins, it wasn’t too hard to find other great locations to shoot in.
We first did some photos of them together at Dinky Dock Park. I usually like to photograph twins sitting side by side and the dock was a perfect spot to pose them there.
From there, we walked onto the Rollins College campus where I did some poses of them separately. Just like I do with all of my senior sessions, I wanted to make sure I captured their unique personalities. This wasn’t as much of a challenge since Alex and Emily are not identical twins. Here are some photos of Alex.
We did Emily’s pictures by the Rollins library where she was able to relax by the steps and in one of the oversized rattan chairs out in the front breezeway. I loved how the Spanish tile pattern made such a great background for her and her cranberry dress.
Both Alex and Emily changed into more casual jeans outfits which were super cute. I like that their blouses were similar, but not so “matchy-matchy.”
I loved these steps as the backdrop for these last shots. The contrast of the black bannister and the off-white steps really made their outfits pop.
