When Cameron’s mom booked me as the photographer for senior portraits of her daughter, I knew it was going to be special. Not only is Cameron a stunningly gorgeous young lady, but she is also one of my daughter’s first friends when we moved to Oviedo in 2007. They met when they were five in dance class at her mother’s dance studio Tutus on Broadway and are graduating together as part of Oviedo High School’s Class of 2020.
We started Cameron’s session outside at Mead Gardens in Winter Park with Cameron donning her Florida Gulf Coast shirt and cap as that is where she will be attending in the fall. Here are some shots of her in her new school colors.
All of my senior portrait sessions include 2-3 outfit changes, so Cameron chose a beautiful gold dress from Anthropologie as her second outfit. The gold color blended perfectly with the spring flowers that were in bloom at the time.
Cameron’s third outfit was an Anthropologie embroidered skirt with a white puckered-styled top. We headed to Park Avenue and finished out her session with some street scenes using one of the fountains. I love how her skirt popped against the vibrant blue water in the fountain.
I’m so glad I am able to provide the Class of 2020 high school seniors with pictures to commemorate this monumental achievement at a time when their senior year events remain uncertain or may not happen at all. These seniors are dealing with this pandemic showing optimism, resiliency, and determination. I’m encouraged by every senior in this class that I have gotten to photograph and am looking forward to hearing all the great things they are going to accomplish after high school and beyond. Now that our state is in Phase One of reopening, I am scheduling senior sessions through August. Contact me to secure your spot.
