A rustic barn wedding is all the rage these days and I can see why. They are so serene, plus you can do so much with candles or cafe string lights to set the romantic mood and adding the farm to table decor also just makes everything so organically beautiful. But what if I told you there was a place that had all of that, plus included a vineyard-esque setting on a blueberry farm as well. Let’s be real, us Floridians, just don’t have a lot of those kind of settings, so when I arrived to shoot David and Amanda’s engagement session at their wedding location, Ever After Farms, my jaw dropped in awe as I drove through the gates and saw a glistening pond foreshadowing the blueberry farm, that was giving off the most wonderful antique shade of blush from its newly budding blueberry plants. I almost couldn’t contain my excitement.
The late afternoon light was just perfect for their session, and we had no problem finding places to shoot. They were so fun and adorable during their session. We really wanted to get those shots that we knew realistically would be harder to get on their wedding day with Amanda’s wedding dress and the entire bridal party. But there’s more inspiration and beautiful pictures to come on their wedding day, like inside the newly built barn with a wall of windows that will be spilling in the most stunning light or in the Cinderella carriage that will drive David and Amanda around the farm being pulled by the majestic Clydesdales. This will truly be a fairytale wedding.
Ever After Farms is located in Mims, FL, just outside of Orlando.
